Design Auditing

We believe client contact is vital. At the earliest possible stage, it's important that the client and design team are fully aware of what will be required to reach the airtightness target. That's why we're keen to attend design team meetings and provide feedback on the design development of the building fabric to minimise infiltration paths and identify zones requiring specific protection.

Once the types of construction and principle of a tight envelope have been identified we can audit production drawing. This ensures that junctions and interfaces between components have been correctly detailed and any additional material or detailing that will assist in the buildability has been considered. We can also assist in the preparation of specification writing to ensure that the main contractor and subcontractors are aware of their duties and responsibilities and the necessary procedure to be adopted.
